It's a vintage tandem worth it?
I found what looks like a good deal on a "bike 1970 Schwinn Deluxe Twinn" Tandem ($ 175, reportedly only the needs of new posts). I see new tandem bicycles starting in the range of $ 400. QUESTION 1: How would the quality of this old Schwinn compared with these new bikes $ 400ish? QUESTION 2: In case I have to replace the parts on the Schwinn, I will be able to find what you need? Would it be difficult to equip the bike with a brake system?
Old Schwinn frames are heavy, but almost bulletproof. However, Flexy be a little compared with a new or Burley Santana. Any new tandem bought for $ 400 will be little more than dirt. He is right to be concerned about the parties. Depending on the issue, it can be reduced to collect the waste. The brakes can not be a big problem. Brakes do not think the V would be desirable, but could find something in the inventory of modern pieces that you could do the job. I would be tempted if it were in good condition but not a bike that had traveled a lot.

Reading bicycle reviews is a great way to benefit from someone else’s experience and knowledge. Deciding what bicycle to purchase can be an overwhelming decision, given the sheer number of bicycle companies and models within each company that exist today. Bicycle riding has become a very popular sport, as opposed to just something that people do for pleasure, or to get around. Now many peope insist on having the proper "equipment" for cycling, rather than just hopping on a bike when you want to get somewhere. What used to be simple has now become a major headache for many people.
